Robot Alarm Codes 5234-5243 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences problems such as sensor condition file error, starting point not detected, deviation and search range exceeded, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 5234 to 5243 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 5234), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (5234-5243)

Alarm CodeFault PhenomenonFault Cause AnalysisCountermeasures & Solutions
5234Sensor Condition File ErrorError data was detected in the LSF or LSR file.Check the contents of the LSF or LSR file, and then perform an exception reset.
5235Sensor Condition File Does Not ExistThe specified LSF or LSR file does not exist.Check the LSF or LSR file number, and then perform an exception reset.
5236Sensor ExceptionThe sensor control device is abnormal.Use WinUser to check the sensor status, and then perform an exception reset.
5237Starting Point Not DetectedThe starting point was not detected during ZF search.Use WinUser to check groove recognition; increase the ZF maximum search range. Then perform an exception reset.
5238Cannot Restart During Sealing TrackingCannot restart during sealing tracking. The position and posture of the robot should not be modified, and then perform an exception reset.
5239Exceeded ZF Deviation RangeThe distance between the detected starting point and the ZF taught point exceeds the deviation range.Check the detected position, modify (increase) the ZF deviation range parameter or program, and then perform an exception reset.
5240Exceeded ZF Search RangeThe robot moved outside the search range.Modify (increase) the search range or program to correct the error, and then perform an exception reset.
5241Exceeded ZT Position Deviation RangeThe robot moved outside the position deviation range.Check the target position, modify (increase) the ZT parameter or program to correct the error, and then perform an exception reset.
5242Exceeded ZN Deviation RangeThe set deviation exceeds the range.Modify (increase) the ZN deviation or program to correct the error, and then perform an exception reset.
5243Exceeded ZN Search RangeThe robot moved outside the search range during ZN.Modify (increase) the ZN search range or program to correct the error, and then perform an exception reset.

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
