During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences a corresponding fault condition, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 0002-0026 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.
To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code, to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.
I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (0002-0026)
| Alarm Code | Fault Phenomenon | Fault Cause Analysis | Countermeasures & Solutions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0002 | Memory Error. | Abnormalities occurred in RAM and ROM. Or record files were destroyed due to a drop in battery voltage, etc. | Replace the memory board. Note that after eliminating the cause of the exception, if any key is pressed, the robot system will be initialized, and data may also disappear, which should be noted. |
| 0004 | An Unhandled Interrupt Occurred. | An instruction without a handling provision occurred. | The board may be malfunctioning. Please contact our maintenance service department. |
| 0012 | The Software Is Not Working Properly. | The main board may be damaged. Affected by noise, etc. | Re-plug the main board. If the power is turned on again and it still cannot recover, please contact our maintenance service department. Turn on the power again. |
| 0020 | Unable to Read Dualization Setting Parameters. | Unable to read the memory setting dualization parameters. | Parameter setting or memory board replacement is required. Contact the maintenance service department. Turn on the power again. |
| 0021 | Inconsistent Dualization Setting Parameters. | The parameters related to safety functions set in the main board and safety plug-in board are inconsistent. | Please contact the repair service department. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception. |
| 0022 | Multi-Servo Exception. | When configured with multiple drives, if an exception occurs in any of the control devices, all robots in the multiple drives will be emergency stopped. At this time, this display will be output on the control device where the exception has not occurred. | Please confirm the exceptions of other robots. |
| 0023 | Emergency Stop Switch Disconnected. | Any emergency stop switch on the teach pendant (T/P) or the control panel has been activated. | On the premise of confirming system safety, release the activated emergency stop switch. When a multi-servo exception (E0022) occurs, eliminate the cause of the exception on other systems. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception. |
| 0024 | Exception Release in Operation Preparation State. | This exception occurs if the operation preparation state is released while the robot is in the stopped state after the operation preparation has been input. | This is to protect the processing functions performed by various components when the operation preparation state is released due to accidents, and generally does not occur. If this exception occurs during normal use, the main CPU board may be malfunctioning. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception. |
| 0025 | Unknown Exception on the Main Side Occurred. | This is an abnormal state not predicted by the software. It mostly occurs when subjected to severe noise interference. It may also be a main board malfunction. | First, turn off the power. Please confirm whether the control cable of the control device is disconnected. If the same problem occurs again after checking and turning on the power, the main board may be malfunctioning. Please contact our maintenance service department. |
| 0026 | Inconsistent Action State Exception. | For some reason, the robot control state inside the main CPU board differs from the internal state. | Turn off the power. The main CPU may be malfunctioning. If this phenomenon occurs again after turning on the power, please contact our maintenance service department. |

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
