Robot Alarm Codes 0705-0785 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences a corresponding fault condition, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 0705 to 0785 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (0705-0785)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
0705 Axis 3 Ground Angle Limit Exceeded. Axis 3 is about to exceed the ground angle limit for movement. Use manual operation to move and control it within the ground angle limit. Exception reset.
0727 Robot Temperature Too High. This exception appears when excessively high motor current causes the temperature of the motor, encoder, wiring harness, and connector to be too high and motor speed to be abnormal. 1. Please confirm that the payload is within the rated range; 2. Please refer to the “Robot Maintenance Manual” to determine the motor braking circuit; 3. Please reduce the temperature in the abnormal area and the external temperature; 4. If the exception persists, please reduce the operating speed of the robot. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0749 SCR1 Temperature Exception Detected. SCR1 inside the welding machine has a temperature exception. Troubleshoot according to the welding machine’s instruction manual. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0750 SCR2 Temperature Exception Detected. SCR2 inside the welding machine has a temperature exception. Troubleshoot according to the welding machine’s instruction manual. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0759 Isolation Error 1 Occurred. The isolation contactor of the welding machine will not open. Confirm the isolation contactor of the welding machine. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0760 Isolation Error 2 Occurred. The isolation contactor of the welding machine will not close. Confirm the isolation contactor of the welding machine. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0762 No Welding Machine Plug-in Board. Unable to detect the welding machine timer board. Insert the welding machine timer board, and then turn on the power again. Exception reset.
0777 Robot Moved During Operation Preparation Input. The robot arm dropped during the operation preparation input process. Confirm whether the robot arm is subject to interference. If it cannot be repaired properly, stop the operation preparation input and contact our maintenance service department. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0783 Dynamic Stop. This error occurs when the main CPU detects a dynamic stop. 1. Turn on the power again. Please confirm that the error has been cleared; 2. Please reinstall the system; 3. Please replace the CPU board. Turn on the power again.
0785 I/O Timeout Error. This error occurs when an I/O timeout is detected. Turn on the power again. If the error cannot be cleared, the system should be reinstalled. Turn on the power again.
