Robot Alarm Codes 4900-4915 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences control problems such as external axis mechanism type error, emergency stop (G-STOP) signal conflict, or motor servo OFF exception, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 4900 to 4915 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

4901 Axis Error in External Axis The axis number specified in the function command is not defined in the current mechanism. Check the parameters of the function command teaching, correctly teach the axis number again, and perform an exception reset.
4902 Mechanism Type Error The mechanism type specified in the parameters is wrong; it is neither a positioner nor a slider. Select a device with a positioner/slider, correctly specify the type, and then reset.
4903 G-STOP Input Values Do Not Match In the dual safety system, the G-STOP emergency stop statuses detected by the two control systems are inconsistent. Troubleshoot the G-STOP safety emergency stop line, and turn on the controller power again after eliminating the hardware fault.
4905 Regeneration Started Without Setting Basic Posture Data was not saved due to power outage, etc., and the position of the endless rotation axis did not return to the state before power failure. Use the position recording method to perform encoder position compensation for the axis with the exception, and perform an exception reset.
4910 Mechanism is in Servo OFF State Attempted to perform an action operation when the mechanism servo power was in the OFF state. Check and confirm the safety status of the target mechanism, set its servo power to ON, and perform an exception reset.
4911 SPN (Servo ON) Parameter Error In the servo ON command, a mechanism other than the work target was incorrectly specified. Modify the program, correct the mechanism number specified by the servo ON command, and perform an exception reset.
4912 SPF (Servo OFF) Parameter Error In the servo OFF command, a mechanism other than the work target was incorrectly specified. Modify the program, correct the mechanism number specified by the servo OFF command, and perform an exception reset.
4914 Cannot Execute Mechanism Servo OFF The robot is currently not in the expected position of the command, and refuses to execute servo OFF to prevent falling. Check whether the mechanical arm is blocked and whether the load exceeds the standard; if there is a mechanical exception, please contact the maintenance department.
4915 Servo OFF Mechanism Indication Value Changed The difference between the actual position and the command position exceeds the allowable adjustment range set by the servo OFF mechanism. Confirm that the indicated angle has not changed and the mechanical arm has not been pushed or pulled by external force, and reset after eliminating the exception.
