Robot Alarm Codes 5308-5317 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences problems such as input/output signals not set, file read error, automatic calibration compensation exception, or missing measurement points, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 5308 to 5317 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 5308), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (5308-5317)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
5308 Input/Output Signal Not Set This error occurs when the input/output signal required for the search operation is not set. Set the input/output signal, and then execute an exception reset.
5309 File Read Error Cannot read the condition file. Set the constant again or execute initialization, and then perform an exception reset.
5310 Automatic Calibration Parameter Exception The parameter in the automatic calibration constant file is abnormal. Set the constant file correctly, and then perform an exception reset.
5311 Automatic Calibration Measurement File Error Cannot access the measurement file, or cannot create the measurement file. Ensure that the measurement file can be created, and then perform an exception reset.
5312 Automatic Calibration Compensation Exception The measured data has reliability issues, possibly due to poor sensor detection or tool installation. Acquire the reference point again, and then perform an exception reset.
5313 Workpiece Program Compensation Exception An exception occurred during workpiece program compensation. Acquire the reference point again, and then perform an exception reset.
5314 Workpiece Program Compensation Exception An exception occurred during workpiece program compensation. No special disposal is required, no reset operation is required.
5315 Robot Position Moved Considerably Because the robot position moved considerably, measurement cannot continue. Correct the clearance of the robot to a measurable range and acquire the measurement point again, perform an exception reset.
5316 Cannot Acquire All Measurement Points The clearance of the robot was detected in a state where not all measurement points could be measured. Measure all measurement points, and then perform an exception reset.
5317 Cannot Execute CALIBROB Executed the data point acquisition mode CALIBROB (FN702). No special disposal is required, perform an exception reset.

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
