Robot Alarm Codes 9103-9129 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN welding robot, the system may trigger system exception alarms in the 9103 to 9129 range due to errors in underlying logic, memory addresses, or floating-point calculations. To help engineers quickly locate problems, we have restructured the complex text blocks from the original maintenance manual into intuitive quick reference tables.

We recommend using the search box below to directly input the alarm code displayed on the teach pendant (e.g., 9114) for one-click access to accurate fault causes and processing steps.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (9103-9129)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
9103 System Exception A breakpoint exception was encountered during program execution. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9105 System Exception (RTACCESSVIOLATION) Memory access violation: The thread attempts to read or write data from a virtual address without an appropriate path (unauthorized). 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9113 System Exception Floating-point calculation exception: An operand in the calculation is an anomalous value (the value is too small to be represented as a standard floating-point value). 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9114 System Exception Divide by zero error: The thread attempts to divide a floating-point value by 0 as a floating-point factor. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9115 System Exception Value conversion error: The result of the floating-point calculation cannot be accurately represented by a decimal fraction. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9116 System Exception Floating-point special case error: The currently occurring floating-point special case is not included in the special case representation list. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9117 System Exception Floating-point exponent overflow: The exponent of the floating-point calculation is greater than the upper limit allowed by the corresponding data type. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9119 System Exception Floating-point exponent underflow: The exponent of the floating-point calculation is smaller than the lower limit allowed by the corresponding data type. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9120 System Exception Divide by zero error: The thread attempts to divide a floating-point value by 0 as a floating-point factor (same as 9114). 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.
9129 System Exception Invalid parameter: The system method was forcibly terminated due to a called invalid parameter or property value. 1. Turn the control box power back on;
2. If the exception persists after restarting, please reinstall the system, and then turn the power back on.

Tip: The 9103-9129 range mostly consists of system software-level errors (such as memory overflows or calculation crashes). In the vast majority of cases, normal operation can be restored through a “power reset” or “system reinstallation”. If the same type of error still frequently occurs after reinstalling the system, please check whether the CF memory card or CPU motherboard hardware has physical damage.

II. Robot Motherboard and System Reinstallation Services

When the robot frequently experiences system crash phenomena such as 9105 (Memory Access Violation), and reinstalling the system is ineffective, it is highly likely that the CPU motherboard or storage media inside the control box is aging and damaged.
