The EP400 was a fully digital pulse welder from OTC DAIHEN, featuring unique full‑digital control technology for stable current across the entire welding range. The standard 4‑roll wire feeder with encoder feedback ensured accurate and stable wire feeding. A new pulse control method significantly improved welding quality on mild steel and stainless steel. Adjustable arc characteristics adapted to various applications, and internal functions could be set directly from the front panel for maximum convenience. The full‑digital soft‑touch keypad provided comfortable operation. Although discontinued, many of its technologies have been carried forward in the successor model DP400(S-3).
