With DC 500A and pulse 400A output, it handled medium‑to‑thick plates and heavy‑duty applications. The standard 4‑roll wire feeder with encoder feedback ensured accurate and stable wire feeding. A new pulse control method significantly improved welding quality on mild steel and stainless steel. Adjustable arc characteristics adapted to various applications, and internal functions could be set directly from the front panel for maximum convenience. The full‑digital soft‑touch keypad provided comfortable operation. Although discontinued, many of its technologies have been carried forward in the successor model DP500(S-3).
