Robot Alarm Codes 6010-6080 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences problems such as welding current/voltage exception, arc starting problem, or welding wire adhesion, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 6010 to 6080 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 6010), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (6010-6080)

Alarm CodeFault PhenomenonFault Cause AnalysisCountermeasures & Solutions
6010Welding Current Exceeded Allowable ValueThe difference between the welding current value taught in the program and the measured value has exceeded the set allowable value.Confirm conditions such as the wire extension length, adjust the data with the automatic adjustment function, and then reset.
6011Welding Voltage Exceeded Allowable ValueThe difference between the welding voltage value taught in the program and the measured value has exceeded the set allowable value.Confirm conditions such as the wire extension length, adjust the data with the automatic adjustment function, and then reset.
6014Poor Arc StartingEven after the set number of retries, the arc still does not start.Check the state of the workpiece, welding wire, and cable connection, and restart the operation.
6015Arc Loss DetectedArc loss occurred during welding.Eliminate the cause of arc loss (poor adjustment, poor feeding, etc.), and restart the operation.
6016Welding Wire Adhesion DetectedWelding wire is adhered.Cut the adhered welding wire, restart, and then operate.
6019Insufficient Welding Wire Remaining Amount DetectedThe “insufficient welding wire remaining amount” signal is input.Supply welding wire, no special release is required.
6043Welding Wire Feed Load Exceeded Allowable ValueThe welding wire feed load has exceeded the allowable value set in the welding constants.Eliminate the factors that add load to the welding wire feed section (such as liner wear, etc.), no special release is required.
6044Arc Welding Power Source Battery ExhaustedThe battery of the arc welding power source is exhausted.Replace the battery, otherwise it cannot be connected to the welding power source, no special release is required.
6054WCR Short Circuit ErrorWhen the arc starts, the WCR of the W-I/F is short-circuited.Check the status of the W-I/F and the welding power source, no reset operation is required.
6080Attempted to Start Starting ComponentOccurs when attempting to start a component that is already starting.Wait until the startup is complete before starting again, no special release is required.

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
