Accumulated metal dust will form hard blocks here, doubling the wire feed resistance and ultimately triggering the servo motor E-210 or system abnormality alarm. It is recommended that maintenance personnel remove the outlet guide tube and thoroughly blow it with high-pressure anhydrous compressed air every time a full spool of wire is replaced.
  • Standard Adjustment of Wire Feed Roller Pressure: When adjusting the pressure handle, insufficient pressure will cause the wire to slip and retract when the welding torch hose bends; excessive pressure will accelerate the damage of the motor spindle bearing and deform the wire. The correct pressure should be: when tightly pinching the tip of the welding wire at the exit of the torch with fingers wearing protective gloves, the wire feed roller can just undergo slight sliding friction without breaking the wire.
