Robot Alarm Codes 2108-2151 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences abnormalities such as inability to start after specifying an application command step, conflict between internal and external operation signals, inconsistent number of program calls, or an excessively large program, the teach pendant will usually display a control logic-level alarm in the 2108 to 2151 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or lead to interruption of automatic operations.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 2108), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (2108-2151)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
2108 Cannot Start After Specifying Application Command Step About to select an application command (function) step from TP and ready to start, because the execution position of the application command may not be the original position. Specify the step of the movement command first and then start, and then reset the exception.
2111 Internal Operation Signal Has Been Input in External Selection State When the operation preparation button or start button is pressed while the start selection is in the external state, or when trying to select a program from TP. Set the start selection or program selection to internal first before operating, and then reset the exception.
2112 External Operation Signal Has Been Input in Internal Selection State When the operation preparation input and start command are input from the outside while the start selection is in the internal state, or when the program selection signal is input from the outside. Set the start selection or program selection to external first before performing external operation, and then reset the exception.
2118 No Data Input in Movement Register This error occurs when no data is set in the specified movement register. Set the data in the movement register, and then reset the exception.
2138 Call Command Setting is Incorrect This error is detected when the number of step call commands and return commands is inconsistent, or when multiple calls exceed 8 times. Modify the job program to make the number of call and return commands consistent, and ensure that multiple calls do not exceed 8 times.
2141 Program Composed of Different Components This error is detected when a program of a different component is directly transferred and called by the program transfer and call command. Modify the transferred and called program numbers to correct values. Restart after resetting.
2142 Program Number is Incorrect This error is detected when the program number exceeds 9999. Reassign the number, no special release is required.
2144 No End Character During regeneration, if there is no end character, this error will be detected after regenerating to the last step. Record the end command. Restarting will clear the error.
2150 Program Too Large This error occurs when the program is too large. Edit the program by deleting steps, splitting, or deleting functions to make the program smaller, no special release is required.
2151 Program or File Does Not Exist This error is detected when a program number that does not actually exist is specified by the program transfer and call command. Modify the transferred and called program numbers to correct values. Restart after resetting.

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
