Robot Alarm Codes 3083-3110 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences abnormalities such as abnormal system restarts, display data corruption, incorrect operation history storage settings, or unrecognized servo welding gun/positioner parameters, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 3083 to 3110 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or data loss.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 3083), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (3083-3110)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
3083 System Restart Occurred This error occurs when the system restarts abnormally during operation without proper shutdown procedures. Check the power supply and system logs. Press any key to release the error.
3084 T/P Display Data Destroyed Because the display configuration data (language) on the Teach Pendant (T/P) was lost or corrupted, it cannot be displayed correctly. Update the display data from the PC. Turn on the power again after processing.
3085 Cannot Change Storage Media for Storing Operation History Attempted to change the constant “Storage Media for Operation History” while “Save Operation History to Storage Media” is valid. To change the storage media, first set “Save Operation History to Storage Media” to invalid, and then change it. No reset operation is required.
3086 No Storage Media for Writing Operation History When writing the operation history to the storage media, the specified storage media was not inserted or detected. Insert the designated storage media, and then reset the exception.
3087 Specified File Operation Not Allowed Attempted to perform file operations (such as deletion or formatting) on the file or storage media where the operation history is being written. It is prohibited to delete or format the operation history file/media. No reset operation is required.
3088 Using Operation History Attempted to change the storage limit capacity of the operation history inside the control device while the operation history function is actively used. After changing the value, restart the control device power to apply the new capacity. No reset operation is required.
3107 Positioner Parameter Not Set The parameters necessary for the positioner to operate correctly have not been configured in the system constants. Set the correct positioner parameters in the constant menu, and then reset the exception.
3108 Specified Peripheral Device Cannot Be Recognized The specified peripheral device is not correctly recognized by the robot controller due to connection issues or incorrect configuration. Please confirm the constants and settings of the peripheral device. Turn on the power again after verifying.
3109 Servo Welding Gun Not Connected The system is configured to use a servo welding gun, but it cannot detect the physical connection. Please check the connection cable between the servo welding gun and the robot controller. Turn on the power again.
3110 Cannot Be Recognized as Servo Welding Gun The connected device does not match the characteristics of a servo welding gun, or there is an error in the constant settings. Check the constant and setting configuration of the servo welding gun in the system menu. Turn on the power again.

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
