Robot Alarm Codes 3177-3536 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences abnormalities such as the internal temperature of the control cabinet being too high, program selection and call errors, abnormal rise in motor torque, or failure to recognize the storage media, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 3177 to 3536 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

3177 Control Cabinet (Inner Panel) Temperature Rise Exception The internal temperature of the control cabinet exceeds 60°C, triggering an early warning; if it does not recover within 10 minutes, the operation preparation will be automatically cut off. Check whether the cooling fan is running; clean the dust of the heat exchanger to ensure good ventilation. The alarm will be automatically eliminated after the temperature recovers.
3178 Cannot Execute Re-welding Operation Attempting to execute the re-welding command in teaching mode or non-“welding step” mode. Switch to manual welding mode, or set the correct welding step in regeneration mode and then operate.
3181 Conveyor Belt Run Signal Not Received When in “Conveyor Belt General Mode”, the physical signal of the external conveyor belt running in place is not detected. Set the “Conveyor Belt Run” signal to ON, check the peripheral signal lines, and it will be automatically eliminated after the signal is normal.
3194 Program Not Recorded or Not Selected The operator selected an unsaved empty program, or reserved a start without selecting any program. Complete the program writing and save it, or select a valid recorded program before pressing the start button.
3218 Unallowed Function Executed During Regeneration The robot attempted to execute an operation restricted by system security during automatic operation (regeneration). Stop the automatic operation, switch to the teaching mode to execute the corresponding function, and restart the automatic operation after completion.
3353 Protected by Password Attempted to modify critical system files protected by a password, triggering the security protection mechanism. Enter the correct administrator password to release the protection. It is recommended to re-enable password protection after the operation is completed.
3354 Abnormal Rise in Motor Torque Detected The motor torque value in the current motion cycle is significantly greater than the average of the previous 10 cycles, suggesting collision or sticking. Check the interference status of the motor, reducer, cables, and load. The torque will automatically recover after eliminating the physical fault.
3355 Servo Welding Gun Feedback Current Exception For servo welding guns with a pressure sensor, the current value corresponding to the actual output deviates severely from the normal setting range. Check the status of the pressure sensor and servo motor, and recalibrate the pressure-current corresponding parameters if necessary.
3528 Cannot Recognize Storage Media The inserted storage media (such as a USB flash drive/CF card) has not been initialized by the robot system, and the format is incompatible. Perform the initialization operation on the storage media in the system file menu, and press the key to release the alarm after completion.
3536 Welding Machine Exception At the end of the welding sequence, the robot control system receives an abnormal feedback signal from the welding machine. Check the alarm on the welding machine body panel and the communication line. The alarm will automatically disappear after the fault on the welding machine side is eliminated.
