Robot Alarm Codes 5411-5420 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences problems such as exceeding the ZJ deviation range, adaptive line speed over limit, measurement area exception, or SF8 compensation monitoring value overflow, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 5411 to 5420 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 5411), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (5411-5420)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
5411 Exceeded ZJ Deviation Range An exception occurs when the distance between the detection point and the ZJ reference point exceeds the Z.T deviation range. Check the detection point, modify (increase) the ZJ deviation range parameter or change the program, and then reset the fault.
5412 Adaptive Line Speed Too Fast The line speed specified by adaptive control exceeds the maximum line speed display value of adaptive control. Check the data table via WinUser, increase the maximum line speed display value of adaptive control, and then reset.
5413 Adaptive Line Speed Insufficient The line speed specified by adaptive control is lower than the minimum line speed display value of adaptive control. Check the data table via WinUser, decrease the minimum line speed display value of adaptive control, and then reset.
5414 Area Too Large The detected area exceeds the maximum allowable value. Check the area display value (maximum), increase the maximum allowable value if necessary, and then reset the fault.
5415 Area Insufficient The detected area is lower than the minimum allowable value. Check the area display value (minimum), decrease the minimum allowable value if necessary, and then reset the fault.
5416 Mismatch Excessive The detected mismatch exceeds the maximum allowable value. Check the mismatch display value (maximum), increase the maximum allowable value if necessary, and then reset the fault.
5417 Mismatch Insufficient The detected mismatch is lower than the minimum allowable value. Check the mismatch display value (minimum), decrease the minimum allowable value if necessary, and then reset the fault.
5418 Search Position Changed The search position and the reference position are different. Please execute a trial movement or edit, obtain the reference position again, and then reset the fault.
5419 SF8 Maximum Compensation Monitoring Value Overflow The content of the register specified in SF8 exceeds the maximum compensation monitoring value. Check the content of the register specified in SF8, increase the maximum compensation monitoring value in SF8, and then reset.
5420 Less Than SF8 Minimum Compensation Monitoring Value The content of the register specified in SF8 is less than the minimum compensation monitoring value. Check the content of the register specified in SF8, decrease the minimum compensation monitoring value in SF8, and then reset.

When the robot frequently displays the above hardware-level alarms, and routine reset attempts are ineffective, do not forcefully pull the robot arm or repeatedly force restarts, so as not to cause secondary irreversible damage.
